Jotara is a midwife, childbirth educator, dancer of the ‘5 Rhythms’ and mother to Eden. Teaching Dancing for Birth™ combines two of her greatest passions, birth preparation and dance. 
 
 “Moving to music is a way to release the intellect and follow impulse and sensation.  This makes dancing the perfect active meditation to prepare for childbirth and a restorative and nurturing practice following birth.
 
Traditional feminine dance use specific movements designed for birth and focus on areas placed under extra strain during pregnancy, the abdominal, back and pelvic floor muscles.

I am passionate about providing classes in my locality where women can come together for exercise, learning, companionship and fun!”
